Tigrina Times -> Quiz Rules

Now there are two ways to win a prize on BirdCapeMay.org!  The Photo Quiz and the Young Birder Photo Quiz will each have a monthly winner and a grand prize winner.

• There will be new photo quizzes each month.
• Monthly prizes will be given to the first correct entry received for each quiz.
• The names of the monthly winners as well as the names of all correct entrants will be listed on the quiz pages for the following month.
• Grand Prize winners will be randomly drawn from all correct entries received over a period of 6 consecutive months. Current Grand Prize period is February to July 2008.

 

 

Rules

1. Answers must be submitted using the online photo quiz submission form.
2. The answer must consist of the common English name as listed on the ABA checklist.
3. Correct answers will be accepted at the discretion of the Web Manager and the Photo Quiz Editor.
4. Only one submission per person will be accepted each month.  Multiple submissions will not be considered.
5. The monthly winner and the names of those who correctly identified the bird will be listed on the website the following month.
6. Correct entries are only eligible to win a monthly prize once every 6 consecutive months.
7. Correct answers for the photo quizzes may be submitted each month within a grand prize period to be eligible for a grand prize. Up to 6 entries per person will be accepted per Grand Prize period.
8. The Grand Prize period consists of 6 consecutive months.  Participants who submit a correct quiz answer during any month of the 6 month period prior to the Grand Prize Drawing will be entered to win the grand prize.
9. Grand prize winners will be selected by random drawing from all eligible, correct quiz answers submitted during a grand prize period.
10. CMBO/NJAS staff members and immediate family members are not eligible to win the monthly or grand prizes. They are eligible to participate in the monthly quizzes.
11. Winners of the Grand Prizes will be recognized on the website.  Grand Prize winners are only eligible to win once during any given year.
