Brian is Sales Manager for Cape May Bird Observatory’s Center for Research & Education (CRE) in Goshen. He has been a professional naturalist since 1980, having served as Teacher-Naturalist at NJAS’s Rancocas Nature Center and as Director-Naturalist of the Tenafly Nature Center. In these capacities he has presented over 3,000 programs to groups from preschool through senior citizens, and led over 30 birding tours from the Florida Keys to Bonaventure Island, and from the Pacific Northwest to the Galapagos. Brian is a past president and Fellow Member of the Delaware Valley Ornithological Club and has compiled the Oceanville Christmas Bird Count since 1985. An avid reader of fiction and nonfiction alike, Brian holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Rutgers (Biology Minor) and a B.S. from Richard Stockton State College in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Wildlife Biology.
