CMBO Cape May Point walk- 6/11/08
posted by Jason Guerard | 11:20 AM
Karl Lukens sends word of today's Cape May Point walk on this less hot and humid day.

"CMBO Cape May Point Walk. For the most part we had the usual resident and breeding bird of the area. Of interest was an adult Cooper's Hawk low over the parking lot and at the end of the walk, a small kettle of 5 Broad-winged Hawks. Sitting on St. Peter's jetty were a number of both Common and Forster's Terns as well as 2 Royal Terns. Interestingly, an Eastern Wood-Pewee was singing in a dead tree next to St. Peter's cross-over."
