Major Cold Front in East
posted by Paul Lehman | 10:42 AM
A strong cold front followed by a large area of cool high pressure is sweeping east and south and will envelop most of the eastern half of the country from the eastern Great Plains eastward over this weekend (September 15-16). Undoubtedly there will be sizable movements of migrants, first in the Midwest, then farther east. One question is how long the winds will remain northwest (preferable) versus turning north to northeast (not as good in some areas, though still good in others). Temperatures are supposed to rebound fairly quickly at the beginning of next week. So get out fast!
